Anat Zelmanovich, MD, attended The Sackler School of Medicine of the New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University in Israel and graduated with her medical degree in 2009. She then pursued her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, the university hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, which she completed in 2013. She was honored with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Resident Teaching Award in 2012 as well as The Julia Zelmanovich MD Memorial Award. Dr. Zelmanovich keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in her field through her professional society memberships with the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s Association. As a result of her outstanding performance in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology, The International Association of HealthCare Professionals (IAHCP) has selected Anat Zelmanovich, MD, to be featured in the premier publication of The Leading Physicians of the World. Prior to medical school, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology at Binghamton University in 2002 and was a research technician at New York University until 2005. She credits her success to her family’s sacrifice and support as well as the encouragement she received from her older sister, who is an OB/GYN physician as well.
